This is an essay that I chose to write for my English 105 class last semester. In the beginning of the year my professor asked us to jot down a few things that were on our mind. Things that were bothering us or things that we just couldn't seem to shake off from the summer. Then she asked us to pick  a topic from the list we accumulated and told us to write a personal essay about it. There were a couple of ideas that I had listed but one that stood out from the rest. I decided to write about moving from the neighborhood I had grown up in and the house I loved. In and out of class we would work on our personal essays until they were almost perfect. This essay really helped me cope with such a stressful and difficult move and I am proud of the final product.

This is my argumentative essay that my professor assigned in English 105. We were allowed to pick any argument we wanted, research it and than create an assay that would prove our point.  I hadn't a clue what to argue and it took me a while to find a solid topic but eventually I found something that I was passionate about, which really helps when trying to prove a point.

This is an essay that I wrote for both my English and Philosophy class. They decided to give us a conjoined essay for our final. I decided to write about the ethical issues in a book we were assigned to read titled Easter Everywhere by Darcey Steinke. This essay was definitely a challenge for me because it had to be 10 or more pages and I had to meet the criteria for both  English and Philosophy class. I edited the paper four or five times before handing in the final draft. It turns out that all my hard work and effort is going to pay off because they want this paper featured in next years addition of Strose Prose and I couldn't be happier.
